Bargaining Report #6

February 25, 2007

 On Sunday, February 25, 2007, we met with the company and submitted the following additional proposals: 

·       Increase In-Charge Allowance

·       Establish Meal Ticket

·       Increase Personal Days

·       Improve Bereavement

·       Improve On-Call Pay

·       Establish Day after Thanksgiving as a Holiday

·       Overtime after 8 hours

·       Improve Language on Jury Duty

·       Improve Job Security by establishing a forty (40) hour work week

 We worked late into the night. In addition, we are working hard to improve the Agreement.

Bargaining Report #5

February 24, 2007

We met with the company this weekend to continue our discussion on “Moving the Bargaining Unit Employees into their Respective Regional CORE Contracts.” A subcommittee was formed to review each particular Article in the Regional CORE contracts.

Bargaining Report #4

February 23, 2007

On Friday, February 23, 2007, the full committee met late into the night. We continue on the Union Proposal of “Moving the Bargaining Unit Employees into their Respective Regional CORE Contracts.” We are reviewing a total of six regional Agreements. The committee will work late tonight and into the weekend.
